Thing 9

I have reviewed the resources for the RSS feeds, Thing 9 and have opened an account on Google Reader. I have subscribed to 9 or 10 feeds.
What I like about RSS is the convenience of having all the news I'm interested in in one place. One of the feeds is the ALA news which will certainly keep me abreast of what's going on in the library world so that's one way it can be used for work. I can imagine that the library webpage could have RSS feeds to keep customers informed of what's happening on a daily basis at the library. This will be a real convenience for our customers who wouldn't have to search all over our web page for the information they seek.
